BEFORE
Strangers' kindness was hard to depend on in this stuffed bus as gentlemen were hardly seen. However, ladies were available if they kept their mouth shut. This was totally a thrill. Yeah! TOEFL! I'm coming with sweat and a 'lost-not-found' ID card. What a day! For months I've guessed I might be a pessimist. And now the answer has become so clear: I'm a definitely a pessimist.
DURING
Apparently, I'm not BT enough to beat iBT TOEFL Test. It is a matter of time: they want quick thinkers and I'm not. And luckily if not for the rules, I would temper with that mischievous computer to death. It sparkled with the pop-out alarm of virus database update, and those 'pleasant' long-lasting rattlings in headphone.
AFTER
I rocked, I rolled, I failed to get a golden ticket to dorm. Men on the street kept on whistling and getting closer. Anxiety slowly dissipated through a whole night's darkness. Wee hours' siren brought me some light. From dusk till dawn, you may say. Two 5 mao and ten 1 mao ended my sorrow. Then in Intensive Reading class I heard Lori said: Oh Chelsea, you finally made it!
